Capsule Art Collection 3

“Capsule Art Collection 3” è un progetto editoriale che continua negli anni con
l’intento di valorizzare il lavoro di artisti selezionati al fine di esaminare ciò che è
degno di nota nel variegato mondo dell’arte contemporanea. Tra gli obiettivi del
volume quello di dimostrare come il “contemporaneo” sia un universo ampio e
complesso che spazia dalla semplicità del “potevo farlo anch’io” all’autoreferenzialità
e/o alla complessità di lasciare l’osservatore disorientato perché incapace di capire
ciò che ha di fronte. Ci si propone dunque di analizzare i vari codici espressivi
con un approccio critico accessibile, semplice, che sia alla portata di tutti, e che
soprattutto aiuti a valorizzare e a far comprendere il lungo processo di ricerca
inerente a tecnica, stile, materiali, per arrivare al lavoro finito.

“Capsule Art Collection 3” is an editorial project that continues throughout the
years with the aim of enhancing the work of carefully selected artists, examining
what is worth noting in the varied world of contemporary art. Amongst the objectives
of the volume there’s the one to show how “contemporary” is a wide and complex
universe that spaces from the simplicity of “I could have done it as well” to the
self-referential and/or the complexity that leaves the observer disoriented, unable
to understand what’s in front of them. Hence, we propose to analyse the various
expressive codes with an accessible and simple critical approach that can be readily
available to anyone and that would allow to highlight and understand the long process
of research concerning technique, style, materials that lead to the finished work.
